Co-founder of The Common Table and studio_lovell, Orlando Lovell was born in London and raised in Berlin. She is a food communication designer that studied at Central Saint Martins College in London, Design Academy Eindhoven in The Netherlands and Hyperwerk in Basel.
Amongst others she has worked at Palais de Tokyo in Paris as well as for the eating designer Marije Vogelzang and the chef Victoria Eliasdóttir. She was the editor of The DIFD (Dutch Institute of Food and Design) for three years and has exhibited at the Vienna Design Week in Austria, the Maia Biennial of Contemporary Art in Portugal, and the Dutch Design Week.
Together with Sophie Lovell, she co-edited the listed Amazon bestseller Taste and Place: A Design Hotels Book and teaches Food Thinking to designers.
